This year is already flying by and the months are getting cooler now. Which just adds to my love of making mugs and in wanting to have a nice hot cuppa to start my day off!
And more butterflies, yes I think I have a thing for butterflies...
Reclaim, reclaim, reclaim was the next job I was determined to get done... I kneaded 18kg of reclaimed clay today. Now that's a workout for the old arms I must say!
After allowing all of my trimmings and slops to soak for about a month I hit it with my electric drill with paint stirring attachment and worked it hard. I left it to rest for another week and then laid it out on my cement boards to slowly dry out enough to begin the arduouse chore of kneading... I have to admit there is a happy contentment knowing that I did reclaim all of my scraps... all of the hard work that goes into this process is so worth while....
My trusty helper 'Buster' was in my work space with me today, he was hard at work keeping me company! He is my best friend and shadow....Oh it's a dogs life!!
Buster is 9years old and is a Border Collie x Mallamute and weighs a hefty 54kg...
He is one of the other loves of my life!!
And here he is again, a much better profile of my Buster!!
Well that's it for me, hope you are all having a wonderful week. Don't forget Mud Colony is also up and running so why not pop by and see what everyone is up too...

ReplyDeleteIt sure is Anna, I just love it! All the hard work in getting it done is all so worth it when you throw it on the wheel and start to centre it... Just so lush!!
