Carved and chattered...

This week I made some chattering tools out of a small pair of ice tongs. And after a few tests on the pieces to find the right leather hardness I was off. I just love it, the way it feels doing it and after on the bowls. Pottery is such an extra sensory experience and I know for myself I crave to get out to my space and touch the clay and feel the mud between my fingers. I can honestly say that I am addicted... 

I decided on these pieces to use the chattering as borders or dividers and then got to my other much loved technique of carving... Again here is my doodling coming out... I just Love, Love, Love to doodle and draw on any scrap of paper where ever I am... So now all of my favourites come together...
