There's always something happening... But it's all good!!

My family came to stay with us in Perth for a couple of weeks and they have gone back home to Brisbane now... :(
This is from Left to Right - My son Trent in the red, behind is my Hubby Darren, My very special Brother Dale in the stripe shirt, My Gorgeous Dad and My Beautiful Mum in front of him and Me on the right... We are in Margaret River in the most stunning Karri Forest....
I had a wonderful time showing my Brother and my Dad how to use the pottery wheel while they were here and I think they really enjoyed themselves...

Dales First piece with a little bit of help... ;)
Dad's masterpiece...
The collection of pieces they made by handbuilding and throwing...
Not a bad job at all... :)

I have had a few firings, bisque and glaze... and here are some new butterfly mugs and other odds...

Tea Cups...

Butterfly Mugs...

Cherry Blossom and Strawberry Mug...
These pieces above are what I have been working on while everyone has been visiting. And now onto my latest bits and pieces which have been my carved pieces....

I Love Cherry Blossoms.... With Chattering...

A Paisley kinda design... With chattering...

I gave my Mum a bowl similar to this one but sadly it did not make it home to Brisbane in one piece. So this is her replacement... well when it has been glazed...

The three salad bowls showing there chattered bottoms...

Three small trinket plates handbuilt and stamped...
Hand carved vase....

A large platter all carved in flowers with a border of leaves and swirls...

So that's what I've been up to and now I have a bisque firing to get done and then some more glazing is on the horizon.... Yeah!!!

Mud Colony is up and everyone over there have been creating and making and would love to share with you what they have been doing, so go and check them out too...
